Terry Tertiary - Soundtrack To Revolution By

‘Soundtrack To Revolution By’ is the first song in Terry Tertiary’s EP of the same name. The song is accompanied by this fiery video, embodying the mood of the song and the artist. Shot over several days in the Chicagoland area, we had plenty of time and artistic freedom to create a video that could match the quality of Terry Tertiary’s work. The EP can be downloaded here: Soundtrack To Revolution By.

The EP and video received media coverage from 106 and Clark as well as Dead End Hip Hop.

Cross - Power

Cross is a young artist from the Chicagoland area. His debut music video for his song, ‘Power’, is filled with images of Chicagoans in their day to day lives. Ashley “Slim” Stevenson is among those shown in the video, a guitarist that found great success once she went viral shortly after we met her. Her story, along with Cross’ own, is a great example of the spark necessary to get to a bright future from a grim present that the influential Tupac speaks of in the opening monologue of this song.

Cross can be found on Instagram.

Documentaries

‘The Get Out Project’ is an inspiring 6-part documentary series created in collaboration with Get Out Network. It's intended purpose is to encourage the youth to work towards their goals in all facets of life. The series begins with a poetic piece from Adidas athlete Christina Clemons before going into in-depth interviews with DJ Bandcamp, poet Quartez Harris, musician Terry Tertiary, and more.

The Lantern, Ohio State’s student newspaper, published several articles about The Get Out Project. The first was written during production and the second revolved around the successful theatrical premiere at Gateway Film Center in Columbus, OH.

This piece can be summed up with interviewee James Drakeford's words: "If you like something and you have the means to do it, why aren't you doing it?"

Fashion Films

Afternoon Reflections

Our first fashion film with ADILAH M features models Ameera and Dani. ADILAH M is a brand “designed for today's women who are empowered and inspired to live confidently in their feminine power.” We maintained this mindset when creating Afternoon Reflections, as the models confidently navigate themselves through the lush greenery of Centennial Park. Adilah’s designing choices makes the two subjects stand out in a way that imbues radiance and grace in every frame.

Inner Bloom

We teamed up with ADILAH M again to promote her brand. This time, we implemented colorful backdrops and props to portray a story of inner beauty. Models Ameera Muhammad and Hoda Katebi lended us their talents and grace to help with this short fashion film.

Accessories were provided by Jane Georges.

Wardrobe assistance provided by Sal.

The Wedded Husband is an English-language play written by Hong Shen 洪深 (1894-1955) in the 1910s while he was a student at The Ohio State University. It premiered in April 1919 at OSU to an audience of 1300.” This modern revival of the play was performed in 2013, nearly 100 years later, in the Roy Bowen Theatre of the Drake Union. We had the privilege of recording and editing the iconic stage play and immortalizing the moment for everyone to experience for years to come. More information on this historic stage play can be found on The Lantern and OSU East Asian Studies Center. The 50- minute DVD and accompanying 78-page book can be purchased through OSU Foreign Language Publications.

This is one of several videos we produced for Team Buckeye. Team Buckeye is one of several teams that participate in Pelotonia, an annual bicycle ride that raises funds for cancer research. The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute ensure that 100% of the funds raised are being used to research a cure for cancer. Since 2008, Pelotonia has raised over $184 million for cancer research. This specific video encourages students of The Ohio State University to join Team Buckeye in finding a cure.
